























19th Century Georgian Ash And Elm Foot Stool With Carved Lion
A fine antique Georgian wooden stool, made from elm wood with turned ash legs. c1800 or perhaps earlier. It has an unusual and highly decorative carving of a lion on the seat. The stool also has remains of the original paint, a Georgian green that was commonly used for furniture.
