A fine English Delft plate, probably from Liverpool c1750. I particularly like the ‘vintage’ lot number and Sotheby’s sticker, still attached from 1991.
Blue on a pale blue glaze with a Chinese fenced garden scene. Herbal sprig marks on base. One piece has been restored.
